Cybersecurity eBooks
Mark is a leading expert in cybersecurity and needed a eye-catching cover for his eBooks on the subject. The goal was to create something that showed teams, collaboration, and a more bright and fun concept to entice people to read more on how to keep their assets secure. I not only developed two eBook covers, but I also created a logo for him to use for his personal website or for other future projects.

Creative Brief
Logomark
Every one of my projects begins with a creative brief. This is when I talk 1:1 with my client and find out the actual needs and the scope of the project.
After we discuss the scope, I then create a timeline with when you’ll see progress from my side. My goal is to make the design process as interactive and as collaborative as possible. A previous boss gave me a term I use to this day: early, ugly, and often. What does that mean? I show my work early, I show it in rough stages, and I show it as often as I can. I do this because I never want to waste time and it ensures I deliver the project with the correct vision.
The other goal of a creative brief is to showcase how and why I charge the rates that I do. Something as simple as a branding project can take multiple revisions and several hours of refinements. For those who aren’t frequent visitors of the design realm, this helps them grasp the total ask and challenge of the project.
